Welcome to PrepInterview AI ("we", "us", "our"), accessible at prepinterview.io. By accessing or using our service you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PrepInterview AI in any way, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

2. Description of Service

PrepInterview AI provides an AI-powered platform that generates tailored interview questions, answer guides, YouTube video suggestions, and PDF exports for job seekers. The service is available in three tiers:

• Free tier — 1 lifetime generation, 3 questions unlocked.
• Pay-per-use — ₹8 per generation, all 10 questions unlocked.
• Monthly / Yearly subscription — unlimited generations.

3. User Accounts

You may sign in using Google, email and password, or phone OTP. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at contact if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the platform.

4. Payments and Billing

Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank details on our servers. By making a payment you agree to Razorpay's terms of service.

Subscription charges are billed monthly or yearly in advance. If a payment fails, your access may be downgraded to the free tier until the payment is resolved.

5. Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing cycle unless required by applicable law. See our Refund Policy for full details.

6. AI-Generated Content

Interview questions, answer guides, and related content are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy and relevance, we make no guarantee that AI-generated content is complete, accurate, or suitable for any specific interview or employer. Use the content as a starting point for your preparation, not as a definitive guide.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the platform (e.g. job titles, company names). By submitting content you grant us a limited licence to use it solely for generating your requested output.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract content from the platform.
• Use the service to generate content that is misleading, defamatory, or unlawful.
• Share, resell, or redistribute generated content commercially without our written consent.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, payment gating, or security measures.
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to interact with the service.

8. Intellectual Property

All platform software, design, branding, and non-AI-generated content is owned by PrepInterview AI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our platform without express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrepInterview AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of job opportunities, income, or data. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the service will meet your specific requirements.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
